How to use wax melts?
Enhance your home with our exquisite wax melts. The melt is made of natural soy wax and 100% pure essential oil. To enjoy, simply remove wax melt from tray and place in oil burner dish. For best result, use a maximum of 2 melts at a time. Light up the tealight candle underneath the oil burner. If you are using an electric burner, just turn the burner on.
How long do wax melts last?
Typically, a single wax melt will continue to release its fragrance for 6-12 hours. Depending on the size of your room and the movement of the air. Once the essential oils in a wax melt have evaporated then the wax melt will no longer smell as strongly. It really is a matter of personal taste and preference as everyone is different. However, you will be able to tell when your wax melt is losing its scent because the essential oil will become weaker and less pronounced. Then is time to change!
How to clean the oil burner?
To clean wax melts from a burner, you can follow these steps:
1. Cool Down: Allow the wax in the burner to cool and harden completely.
2. Freezing Method: One effective method is to place the burner in the freezer for a little while (around 20-30 minutes). The cold temperature will cause the wax to shrink and harden, making it easier to remove.
3. Remove Wax: Once the wax is hardened, use a blunt tool like a butter knife or a spoon to gently pry the wax out of the burner. Be careful not to scratch or damage the burner.
4. Cotton Method: Alternatively, you can place the cotton over the wax which it will then absorb all the wax.
5. Clean Residue: After removing the majority of the wax, wipe the burner with a paper towel to clean off any remaining residue.
6. Final Cleaning: For a thorough clean, you can wash the burner with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Make sure to dry it completely before using it again.
